Limited release of the our Japantown enamel pins. In collaboration with Minidoka Pilgrimage, we created this special Minidoka Pin. In 1942, almost 13,000 people of Japanese ancestry, many of whom were American citizens, were removed from their homes and sent to a desolate incarceration camp near Twin Falls, Idaho. The Minidoka bird is based off a wood carving made by an unknown incarcerees. Many folks created beautiful objects out of nothing during their time. The Minidoka represents the hope of "Never Again".
